Follow the direction for Portes en Ré (D101), then turn right onto the Route du vieux port towards the Lilleau des Niges Nature Reserve.
Parking is available for visitors.
By bicycle
The cycle path runs alongside the Maison du Fier and the Nature Reserve. Starting from Ars-en-Ré: 7 km (towards les Portes). Starting from the lighthouse, Le phare des Baleines: 5km.
Bicycles can be left in the cycle park at the Maison du Fier.
